Kings tells the story of the nation of Israel, from the moment the last judge, the prophet Samuel, is used by God to guide his people, until the tragic fall of Jerusalem at the hands of the armies of Babylon. The first season, titled The Deception, describes Israel’s turning away from God and the poor example set by those once chosen to guide the nation in the ways of the Lord.
